Tottenham Hotspur 1-0 Arsenal: Arsenal's player ratings

Harry Kane took to Twitter to poke fun at pundit and Arsenal fan Piers Morgan after Tottenham's 1-0 victory over the Gunners on Saturday. If not for his presence, Tottenham would have scored more than one goal.

"Yesterday it was quite stark watching them against an Arsenal team who have spent quite a lot of money in recent times and Tottenham looked such a better-balanced team with players who looked hungry and up for the challenge".

"The three points are most important and now we have to keep going with Juventus in the Champions League on Tuesday". Everything he is achieving is incredible.

"I am so happy to win".

"It's a game we couldn't afford to lose, of course", manager Wenger said. Pochettino was pleased with his side's improvement after the break and is thrilled to have taken seven points from consecutive league games against Manchester United, Liverpool and the Gunners.

They said Pence could have opted to sit with the United States delegation and avoided the box that included the North Koreans. The United States has repeatedly warned its ally South Korea to continue pressure on the North Korean government.

Spurs went third in the table with the result, and will be banking on the prolonged form of Kane to carry them to a Champions League spot come May.

Tottenham are now unbeaten in their last nine league matches and remain in a good position to qualify for the Champions League via a top-four finish. We've had tough fixtures with United, Liverpool and Arsenal in a row and seven points from those games is fantastic.

And it was only the defiance of Cech that kept a rampant Spurs at bay in the second half, producing a collection of outstanding saves to somehow keep Arsenal in contention as Pochettino's side threatened to run riot. Once they scored you could see we were wobbling and they could have scored more but in the last 10 minutes we should have come back to 1-1. There has been a talk of a power shift in North London. You can say, "We are not strong enough when defending our goal", but when you look at the numbers and compare them to the top six, we do not score enough goals away from home.

"I am not a great fan of the Europa League victor qualifying for the Champions League - I think it is not right".

'That makes it much more hard now but we have to fight as long as we have a mathematical chance. I have seen the replay, it is no foul, just good centre-forward play.
