'Avengers: Infinity War' teaser prepares for the battle of the universe

The Super Bowl ad for Disney and Marvel Studios' Avengers: Infinity War (due out May 4) generated the most buzz of any movie spot airing during Sunday's historic Super Bowl showdown between the Philadelphia Eagles and the New England Patriots.

We already have a ridiculous number of trailers and TV spots to salivate over, but don't think they're done yet.

The Infinity War teaser, which followed the full trailer last November, seemed to put Robert Downey Jr's Iron Man in the spotlight.

Speculation ran amok after fans believed they spotted a glimpse of Captain Marvel's suit behind Chris Evans' Steve Rogers / Captain America in one of the 30-second trailer's brand new shots.

The release of the first trailer shook the world to its core, giving the world a small taste of what they were to expect from the film, and it sent fans into overdrive!

The likes of Nebula (Karen Gillan), Loki (Tom Hiddleston), Spider-Man (Tom Holland) and Thor (Chris Hemsworth) were also seen, along with the fearsome Thanos (Josh Brolin). It must be a serious injury for a shapeshifting android to retain it long enough to hurt him - the only person we've seen so far who can stand up to Vision is Scarlet Witch, and even then she was only able to restrain him.

Black Panther hits theaters on February 16, 2018.
