Assassin's Creed Origins DLC 'The Hidden Ones' trailer

But after taking a year off, we doubt many could have predicted just how incredible the final result would have been.

Assassin's Creed: Origins will see the launch of its first DLC, The Hidden Ones, this Tuesday, January 23rd. Bayek and the Brotherhood clash with the Roman army in an all-new region of the game known as Sinai. The DLC will run in parallel to the main campaign, so you'll be able to take some of this new powerful gear with you to clean up any of the original story's leftovers.

The Hidden Ones will include the entirety of the Sinai region to explore, a new level cap of 45, four new legendary weapons, two new mounts, a new costume, and several other weapons that you can seek out in-game as well.

Dolores O'Riordan Memorial With Open Casket Thronged
President Michael D Higgins has sympathised with the family of Dolores O'Riordan in Co Limerick and signed a book of condolence. Limerick, Ireland and the global music community was left in shock after the Limerick musician died in London last Monday.

Stay tuned for more details on the pre-load and release as soon as we learn more. The base game dealt with topics like preserving the Ancient Egyptian way of life in a changing world, so expect The Hidden Ones to touch upon similar themes. The expansion will be free to all current Assassin's Creed: Origins owners and also be available for $19.99 as a standalone purchase. And they will probably need all of it, as Ubisoft recommends to play the expansion at a level close to 40, the maximum of the main story.

The Hidden Ones expansion is available for $9.99, however, if you purchase the season pass, you'll be able to download it free of additional charge.
