Golden State Warriors' Jordan Bell (ankle) exits vs. Chicago Bulls

The Golden State Warriors will visit the United Center on Wednesday to play the Bulls, and with Draymond Green and Andre Igoudala out of the lineup, the Warriors will start at power forward.

Twenty-four seconds into regulation, Bell landed awkwardly after trying unsuccessfully to block a Robin Lopez dunk. With Bell staying on the ground, both the Warriors' medical staff and Bell's teammates came to his help.

Per Mark Medina of the Mercury News, Bell appeared to twist his left leg or ankle landing on the floor. He remained down for several minutes before being wheeled into the locker room in a wheelchair. They add that he will have an MRI Thursday.

Bell in 37 games is averaging 5.2 points, 4.0 rebounds and 1.8 assists in 14.8 minutes. Should Bell have to miss an extended period of time, Looney and JaVale McGee are among the front court players who will have the opportunity to earn more playing time.

Less than an hour later, Bell suffered what could be a significant injury. The Warriors acquired him in a draft night trade with Chicago for $3.5 million in cash considerations.
