Texas A&M Knocks Lady Vols From Unbeaten Ranks

The Volunteers (12-4, 3-2) were led by Jordan Bowden (15 points), Kyle Alexander (14), Admiral Schofield (12) and Jordan Bone (10).

It was the first time Texas A&M lost five consecutive games since January 4 through February.

Gilder scored 16 points, Hogg had 13 and Tonny Trocha-Morelos had 10 for Texas A&M, which committed 17 turnovers. He scored six points and handed out six assists after missing three straight games due to a knee injury.

The Aggies' last two losses before this game were decided by one point each - a 69-68 setback to LSU decided on an off-balance 3-pointer in the final second and a 74-73 decision at No. 21 Kentucky.

Earlier in the week, the Tennessee men's basketball team rode career-high performances from its two leading scorers to a victory at Vanderbilt.

Tennessee, which was plus-eight in turnovers at the half, went into intermission with a 36-28 lead.

The Aggies regained the lead with 9 seconds left after Westbrook fouled Williams on a 3-point attempt.

He accused Iran of committing "multiple violations" and promised to work with Congress to "address the deal's many serious flaws". Trump wants the European nations that are signatories to the deal to impose permanent restrictions on Iran's uranium enrichment.

Tennessee wasn't as effective in turning points into turnovers - 15 points from turnovers, compared to Texas A&M's 18.

Pulling within six at 65-59 with 3:41 to go, there was a glimmer of hope for the Aggies.

Texas A&M: The 3-point shooting that kept Texas A&M relatively close in the first half deserted the Aggies as they attempted to rally.

Trailing by one with 7.8 seconds remaining in overtime, Tennessee had the ball with a chance to win, but Evina Westbrook's pass to Jaime Nared bounced wide and out of bounds, resulting in a turnover. They combined for just 21 points against Texas A&M's size, but Tennessee won anyway.

The Vols won the battle of the boards, 38-29, and held even in points in the paint 32-32.

A&M returns to the court on Tuesday as the Aggies host Ole Miss with tip-off slated for 8 p.m.
