Game of Thrones Spinoff Will Not Feature Current Characters

President Casey Bloys knows you are mad about the Game of Thrones delay, but he says it will be worth it the wait.

Talking to TV Line, Bloys insisted "it wasn't necessarily a delay".

In any case, that means that any Game of Thrones prequel would air in 2020 at the earliest, although that doesn't foreclose the possibility that HBO could film a pilot sooner than that, which Bloys acknowledged. HBO chief Casey Bloys just confirmed that the crime series will finally return to the network in 2019 - and while he was at it, he gave a new update about the long-awaited Deadwood movie, too.

Created by Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons, Watchmen is the story of an alternate history in which superheroes first emerged in the 1940s, drastically altering the course of history.

"We're not using the final season to launch a new show or anything like that".

"Here's what I'll tell you: They take the time they need to do the show at its highest level of quality".

Boothbay Fund Mgmt Lc has invested 0.03% in Dynegy Inc. (NYSE: AWK ) has risen 3.35% since January 13, 2017 and is uptrending. The total amount of shares outstanding is 180.14 million, giving the company a market capitalization of about 15.27 billion.

Let's start with the Game of Thrones prequels.

While a stellar Season 8 will undoubtedly be fantastic in 2019, waiting through all of 2018 without new episodes might be a little rough for fans, especially if the folks at the show are paranoid about preventing spoilers from leaking. The odds that even more records will be broken in the eighth and final season are pretty good.

Bloys said that he's "liking what I'm seeing". He went on saying, "These things take time".

"We have some really talented writers working on them", he added. "I have seen some things that I think are potentially very exciting". Indeed, HBO has already green-lit the development of not one, but five GOT prequels. I don't have a timetable when we're going to make decisions on anything.

But for those who can't get enough of Westeros and its inhabitants, there are a five spin-offs in the works. "Probably more likely around one".

I'll do anywhere from zero to five!
