There's also be a giant-sized amiibo to be released alongside it, that will give you instant access to in-game cut scenes, instead of having to unlock them normally by playing the game. At the same time, the game will also release its second episode in Japan. In case you missed it, Detective Pikachu is finally headed to the U.S., and we have our first trailer right here. All in a day's work for detective Pikachu! Notably, Detective Pikachu is almost double the size of your average amiibo 'chu.

In the meantime, you can look forward to the Nintendo 3DS game to make its way to the West starting March 23rd.

The story takes place in Ryme City, as Detective Pikachu attempts to find Tim's missing father, Harry, by searching for clues and interviewing witnesses.

For those who haven't been keeping up, Detective Pikachu is a mystery adventure game, somewhat similar to the Ace Attorney titles. According to the main Pokemon website, this Pikachu talks tough, loves coffee, and wants to solve mysteries so that he can become a great detective.
