Alabama QB Tua Tagovailoa defends Jalen Hurts in wake of fan hate

It's not just a point of emphasis since Saban arrived in Alabama in 2007, but a strong indicator of his success.

The crimson and white confetti was thing of beauty and seeing former Tide players celebrate with Smith in the end zone was jubilant, but watching Hurts beam about his teammate in an interview with ESPN's Marty Smith at the conclusion the contest is what this game is all about. "Because Tua felt that he should've been the starting quarterback and had outperformed (Jalen Hurts) in practice, and Coach never gave him an opportunity".

Tua Tagovailoa is exhausted of hearing the criticism of Jalen Hurts. "I expect him to have another big game this upcoming game". As the game went into overtime, Tagovailoa burst onto the field with an incredible second-half performance at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

Saban had already made the decision to make the switch to Tagovailoa, leaving Hurts to move over into the role of cheerleader.

On Monday night, another Hawaiian quarterback took center stage in Tua Tagovailoa, who came off the bench to guide Alabama to a national title game win over Georgia.

The man who resurrected the Owls' program shed some light on the quarterbacking situation and how things may shake out this spring and summer. "No disrespect to Jalen, but".

"I have to be fast off the ball and get into my route quickly, so I can get open so they don't create turnovers", Ridley said.

Officials said both were stable, adding that the vehicle did not stop at the checking point when it was asked to stop by Armymen. SSP Srinagar City Imtiaz Ismail Parray said that a case has been registered and further investigations are going on.

Pappanastos set up for what could have a game-winning field goal, but the 36-yard kick sailed wide left and helped send the game to overtime. Quarterback Jake Fromm attempted seven consecutive passes during the Bulldogs' first two offensive drives. Georgia sniffed out a screen pass, Tagovailoa couldn't pick up his next option and Georgia dumped the youngster for a 16-yard loss. That was still enough to lead the national rushing defense standings - but not by much.

Freshmen were everywhere for the Alabama offense: Najee Harris at running back, Henry Ruggs III at receiver, Alex Leatherwood at left tackle after All-American Jonah Williams was hurt. Has a decade of dominance unlike anything I've ever seen in college football.

Another feather in Saban's cap is the way he's won his championships. While Tua's parents came to Alabama with him to ease his transition to college, he said early Tuesday that he still feels homesick at times. He stepped up for his team big.

That's a new one, even for Saban.

Tagovailoa can ball. Saw it in the spring game. Without him, the Tide (13-1) most likely would not have won its fifth national title in the last nine years. You know what I mean. "But there's more to it than that". At the time, he had the second-longest streak of pass attempts without a pick in school history with 206.

It only lasted a moment.

"He's done it all himself", he said, brushing off any potential praise.
