WWE's Triple H comments on his meeting with UFC star Ronda Rousey

"It was great to catch up with her", Levesque told The Associated Press in a recent interview.

Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) superstar Ronda Rousey has had her share of ups and downs in UFC and is now on hiatus from the octagon.

Enzo added that Rousey would translate quite well from MMA to WWE, and Rousey respects WWE enough to know that it is going to be hard.

Triple H such out of the restaurant in LA first before Rousey exited with her agent in tow. This led to a physical altercation from Rousey to both Stephanie and Triple H, which heightened speculation that a WWE deal is near. Those rumors have swirled ever since Rousey appeared inside the ring alongside The Rock at WrestleMania 31 in 2015.

Her "Four Horsewomen" team-mate Shayna Baszler made the final of the 32-woman tournament. While Rousey has time and again reiterated her love for WWE and the sport of professional wrestling, the belief is that she's now ready to transition from the sport of MMA to the WWE's world of sports-entertainment.

It seems clear the WWE would be happy to have her on board. Meanwhile, the New York Post said that should Rousey decide to move to the WWE, the timing will just be flawless.

"We have nothing to announce at this time".

"We're fans of hers and incredibly interested in what those opportunities could be with us". But there's a lot of things to walk through.

"We are talking to Ronda, as we've been for a while..."

Levesque was in Los Angeles to speak on a Television Critics Association panel.

Speaking of TMZ, Rousey kept stum with them after the dinner, simply answering 'I really enjoy fine dining, ' when pressed about the rumours.
