Thomas Lemar wants Liverpool move: January deal possible, Monaco will sell - journalist

Liverpool would need to eclipse the club-record fee paid for Virgil van Dijk if they are to be successful in signing AS Monaco midfielder Thomas Lemar.

According to David Anderson of the Daily Mirror, the two Premier League sides are seriously interested in the France global, who is valued at around £90 million by his club. "Things can happen that even a club like Monaco can't say no to".

Now, Monaco boss Leonardo Jardim has spoken about a potential transfer and isn't exactly ruling it out.

"We don't usually sell in winter, but the transfer window is open until the end of the month, and you have to prepare yourself for anything and everything", Jardim told L'Equipe.

They also credit Arsenal with an interest in Lemar, with their bid in August setting "the starting point for any new negotiations".

Dark Souls Remastered will feature 2K unconverted textures on the PC
Dark Souls: Remastered is set to land on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch , and PC on May 25, 2018. Nintendo Direct confirmed the rumor that the original Dark Souls was being remastered.

The Potuguese said: "You know how insane the market is".

Liverpool are looking for a replacement for Philippe Coutinho, who had his dream move to Barcelona finalised on Saturday, and the Reds are long time admirers of the France worldwide.

With a little less than three weeks left in the transfer window, Jardim is expected to have more uncertain days over Lemar's future at the Stade Louis II. But it also makes a lot of sense as to why Lemar would want to wait, why Monaco would want to wait.

Ozil and Sanchez will become free agents in the summer; however, the latter could be on the move this month with Manchester City favourites to land the Chilean.

The 20-year-old Brazilian has impressed this season and has an excess of talent and a clearly bright future but is just clearly a step or two behind Lemar at this stage.
