Alabama DL coach Karl Dunbar's playbook was stolen from his backpack

One of the most prized possessions for a football coach is their playbook, and unfortunately for Alabama someone out there has Crimson Tide's playbook.

Police say an Alabama coach's backpack, which included his playbook, was stolen from his hotel ahead of the National Championship. The Alabama defensive linemen used the room as a meeting area before Monday night's game.

In addition to the playbook, Dunbar also had a wallet, $1,320 in cash, two cellphones, a passport, an iPad, sunglasses and reading glasses in the backpack.

Per WSB-TV in Atlanta, which first reported this story, some of the items from the backpack were later recovered in a bathroom, but the playbook was not among them.

In a separate attack near the frontier, a sniper killed a Colombian soldier. The government said that the rebels attacked the pipeline with three bombs.

Two days after the playbook was stolen, Alabama beat Georgia 26-23 in overtime to win the national championship.

A photo of the alleged suspect has been released.

Right away everyone assumed this man is a Georgia fan, although the alleged theft didn't seem to have an impact on the field.
