Ronaldo: Neymar took a step back leaving Barca for PSG

Cast your mind back to the summer and those sensational talks of Neymar leaving Barcelona for Paris Saint Germain began and materialised.

In an interview with former Brazil global Zico via YouTube, Ronaldo said: "Sportingly, the decision is a step back".

"He's at PSG now, but sports-wise, this decision he's taken is a step backwards", the 2002 World Player of the Year said in an interview with former global Zico's youtube channel.

Ronaldo played for both Barca and Madrid during his career, but is now much more associated with Los Blancos outfit, which he has recently represented in an ambassadorial role.

According to a report by Spanish newspaper Marca, the most expensive footballer on earth is the Galactico "most craved" for by club president Florentino Perez.

The financial services provider reported $0.84 EPS for the quarter, missing the Zacks' consensus estimate of $1.04 by ($0.20). In other news, VP Richard Levy sold 97,000 shares of the company's stock in a transaction dated Thursday, November 30th.

Any move now or at the end of the season is unlikely, but they could break the bank next year to seal Neymar's transfer.

Moura has struggled for game time in recent months, making just six appearances under Unai Emery this term and last starting a game for the French giants in May.

The Brazil worldwide was left out of PSG's squad to face Amiens in the Coupe de La Ligue on Wednesday and, according to UOL Esporte, the player is "counting down the days until he leaves PSG".

Ronaldo's long-term future at the Bernabeu remains in doubt after a public disagreement with Perez over whether the 32 year old deserves a pay-rise, and a below par start to the 2017-18 season which has contributed to the team slipping 16 points behind runaway leaders Barca in the La Liga standings.
