Vardy, who turned 31 on Thursday, has recovered from the groin injury that kept the England global out of the 2016 champions line-up for the FA Cup third round 0-0 draw with his former club Fleetwood Town last weekend.

The Blues come into the match on the back of three consecutive draws, in which they've failed to score in the last two.

Chelsea only have one injury to worry about for the visit of the 2015/16 champions.

Antonio Conte's side have lost only once in their last 17 matches in all competitions, a slender defeat to West Ham at the start of December.

Likewise, Leicester were also held to a 0-0 draw in the FA Cup by lower league opposition.

Leicester City manager Claude Puel has given a calm response to speculation linking Harry Maguire with a move to Manchester City, describing the reports as "a good thing".

Chelsea were in action on Wednesday night when the Blues settled for a goalless stalemate with Arsenal in the first leg of their Carabao Cup semi-final.

Chelsea added England global Ross Barkley in a £15m deal from Everton in the January transfer window. Robert Huth remains sidelined with long-term injury, and is yet to make an appearance this season. The champions have won their last seven league games at Stamford Bridge, the last being a 5-0 thumping of relegation-threatened Stoke City.

Chelsea were 2-1 winners against Leicester City at the King Power Stadium earlier in the season, while the Blues signed Danny Drinkwater from the Foxes in the summer.

Leicester have a pretty decent record on their travels this season.

With nailing down a secure place in the top three high on Chelsea's agenda, Antonio Conte's side are sure to take the attack to Leicester in an effort to overwhelm their weakened defence.
