Apparently there'll be other blasts from the past from Pepsi in the campaign.

It's been 26 years since Cindy Crawford's iconic Pepsi commercial first aired during the Super Bowl and she's bringing it back after all these years with the help of her son.

In 1992, Cindy Crawford created one of the most iconic campaigns for a soda brand ever.

"To this day, people come up to me to talk about how much they loved my original Pepsi spot from '92", said Crawford in a statement from Pepsi.

"It was one of those moments in my career that when I walked down the street, people were like, 'Pepsi!' Or I'd be at a bar and people would send me over a Pepsi", Crawford remembered about the original and the massive impact it had.

The new Super Bowl ad, dubbed "This Is The Pepsi", is part of the company's "Pepsi Generation" campaign honoring the brand's 120-year history in pop culture. Some lucky fans were also given the chance to win sideline passes to see him perform live at U.S. Bank Stadium through a social media campaign, #PepsiHalftimeLive.

The Pepsi Super Bowl Halftime Show is headlined by superstar Justin Timberlake. This packaging release in select markets around the world will be the first in a series of limited-edition packaging unveiled in 2018 across the trademark, including Pepsi, Pepsi Zero Sugar and Diet Pepsi. Similar to the first Pepsi Stuff campaign, fans can earn points to redeem for items like vintage T-shirts, LED signs and coolers. Other nods to happier times in the Pepsi universe include limited-edition retro packaging, which will feature the brand's vintage logo on regular Pepsi products beginning January 29.

The campaign, which will also feature other celebrities that have been part of Pepsi's marketing in the past, rolls in 55 markets across the globe and will include live pop-ups at various events across the US beginning with the Super Bowl in Minneapolis. In an effort to distance itself from 2017, it looks like Pepsi has traveled very far back in time, indeed. New Pepsi Stuff prizes will be released throughout the year.
