The post included a photo of Joanna showing off her baby bump - and Chip showing off his potbelly.

With a magazine publication, cookbooks and a partnership with Target to add to their growing list of enterprises, the new addition will certainly add to the family's busy life.

The pair are already parents to Drake, 12, Ella, 11, Duke, 9, and Emmie Kay, 7.

"The most important thing in the world is Jo and I's relationship, followed very quickly by these four attractive kids [of ours]", Chip said previously on Today of the decision to end the show. "We've got some BIG news to share", the tweet read.

Home design maven Joanna Gaines is expecting her fifth baby with hubby Chip Gaines, the Fixer Upper couple announced on Tuesday, Jan. 2 with a goofy "party of seven" Instagram pic.

"You might recall a few months back. the ever unbelievable, ever romantic @JOHNNYSWIM was in Waco". The photo showed both Chip and Joanna holding their bellies.

"Fixer Upper" debuted in April 2014 and quickly became the jewel in HGTV's real-estate renovation crown.

In October, Chip told Houston ABC affiliate KTRK that he found it more than coincidental he and Joanna had not had another child since the inception of Fixer Upper, a situation he hoped to address.

The first couple of HGTV just dropped a huge, genuinely shocking announcement: Joanna Gaines is pregnant with her fifth child! No, the Fixer Upper duo isn't adding another fantastic line of Target home decor on top of their Magnolia products.

A more traditional reality show could be on the way at HGTV - or maybe even another network.
