Philippe Coutinho admits joining Barcelona 'is a dream come true'

Philippe Coutinho will not be able to make his Barcelona debut for about three weeks because of a thigh injury he sustained while at Liverpool.

Jurgen Klopp conceded Philippe Coutinho made it known to everyone, including his team-mates, that he wished to leave Liverpool to join Barcelona, making it impossible to keep him at Anfield any longer.

"Philippe was insistent with me, the owners and even his teammates this was a move he was desperate to make happen". Video posted on the club website showed a locker bearing his name had already been reserved for their new recruit. Iniesta, at 33, has shown signs of fatigue this season.

The big-money departure of Coutinho has left a gaping hole in the Reds' attack, but the report suggests that Lemar will not be filling it, this winter at least.

Sterling K. Brown reflects on historic Golden Globes win
While the whole room - and fans across the globe - were ecstatic about his win, no one was happier than Oprah Winfrey. It is Sterling K Brown's first Golden Globe win.

Coutinho did put in a transfer request but it did not sway the Liverpool board but now the persistence of Barcelona and the player has seen the move finally come to fruition, it said. Former Liverpool defender Phil Thompson said his old club had probably got the better deal.

'Coutinho leaving is going to dent Liverpool's top four and Champions League hopes.' Shearer wrote in The Sun.

"Will he play regularly every week at Barcelona?" Philippe could have carried on (at Liverpool). Selling Coutinho could cost them millions more if they fail to qualify for the Champions League'.
