Belkin unveils new series of mobile accessories for Indian market

Belkin says that there is a significant amount of shielding, precision resistors, premium materials, and components inside of the charging pad that provides maximum charging efficiency.

Belkin has also unveiled its Charging Car Mount which like the former products supports Apple, Samsung and other Qi enabled devices.

Different from Cygnett's option released previous year, Belkin's isn't magnetic and doesn't require a little metal magnetic ring to be adhered to the outside of your phone to hold still. Supports cases up to 3mm thick.

Belkin said that the wireless chargers support 10W charging, which could be enough for quick charging on Apple, Samsung, and other Qi-enabled devices.

The Charging vehicle mount charger functionality includes use of WiFi, GPS, Bluetooth, LTE and other forms of data consumption and maintains a healthy battery life of the devices. As Belkin highlights, the vehicle mounts will charge upon contact while maintaining full-device functionality including the use of WiFi, GPS, Bluetooth, LTE and other forms of data consumption.

And the BoostUp Dual Wireless Charging Pad, which is essentially two BoostUp Bold's merged into one pad to allow you to charge two devices at once.

Fake Google Play Security Apps Harvest User Info
Covington said there appears to be no sign of a slowdown of mobile malware, which has a 100 percent increase year after year. A report says hundreds of Android games are quietly tracking users' TV habits by turning on the microphone.

Belkin is also releasing two USB-C wall chargers: the Home Charger 27W, and the Dual Port Home Charger 27W (which adds a 12W USB Type-A port).

BOOST UP Wireless Charging System - commercial-grade Qi wireless charging system for public applications, can be mounted in a variety of ways; designed for restaurants, hotels, retail, etc. The system includes a top-mount, flush-mount, or a sub-surface mount. Both charges support the USB-C PD specification, which makes them ideal for charging devices like a Nintendo Switch, or, more importantly, enabling quick-charging on an iPhone X, which is limited to USB-C PD devices.

Lastly, there's the Pocket Power USB-C 10K, a 10,000mAh battery pack with both USB-C and USB Type A chargers, set to release in the spring.

There's no pricing or availability for any of these yet, but given how Australia is a key market for Belkin as well as Apple, and given how many wireless charger players are popping up locally, we suspect this one won't take too long to arrive, with an expected time frame of somewhere in the next couple of months.

Meanwhile, Belkin's WeMo Apple HomeKit Bridge is finally up for sale, priced at $40 (roughly Rs. 2,500), CNET reports.
