Marotta: "'We'll allow Alex Sandro to leave Juve"

Marotta:

"We are aware of the interest of the big clubs in Alex Sandro, but at the moment there are no negotiations".

As reported by Goal, club director Giuseppe Marotta explained to Rai Sport that the Italian champions would consider a deal if the player makes his desires to leave known to the club. On Alex Sandro, we know of the interest from big clubs, but at the moment we have not engaged in any negotiations.

In recent months Manchester United have joined the chase for Sandro and there have been suggestions that he could even leave in the January transfer window.

'We have said many times that when a player asks to be sold, regardless of prestige or importance within the team, we are in favour of a sale, ' Marotta told.

The Blues are still said to be interested in the Brazil global, while Manchester United are also believed to be in the hunt as head coach Jose Mourinho looks for a left-sided defender.

Marotta also discussed coach Max Allegri's future, as well as the Champions League.

Sandro in in his third season as a Juve player, having arrived from Porto in 2015.

Sandro's form has been up and down this season, but Marotta hinted that Chelsea's pursuit of the 26-year-old was not a significant factor.
