Pep provides worrying Man City injury update after Palace draw

City is set to be without Gabriel Jesus for up to two months after the striker was injured in the 0-0 draw at Crystal Palace, leaving the Premier League leaders with just one out-and-out striker in Sergio Aguero.

The Brazil worldwide went over awkwardly early on at Selhurst Park, overstretching as he inadvertently did the splits.

De Bruyne was stretchered off after a strong tackle from Palace's Jason Puncheon, who was booked and was also taken off on a stretcher.

The Belgian was later seen hobbling without the brace and Guardiola believes De Bruyne has escaped a potentially serious injury, but he feels Jesus might be facing a couple of months out.

The Brazil global has 10 goals and two assists in all competitions this season.
